President's Message

Emily Bailey, RD, LDN & Katie Horstmeyer, RD, LDN

Katie and I are excited to start the new association year!  We learned a lot last year from our president predecessors, Cheryl Burns and Charlyn Fargo, and are thrilled to take on the leadership role.  As we currently do not have the position of President-Elect filled, Katie and I, along with secretary, Connie Cranford; treasurer, Deb Durham; and with the help of some former board members, are planning some very exciting events for this year.  Several of our meetings will emphasize local products and businesses, while focusing on all aspects of dietetics. 

If you are not a current CDDA member, please see the membership application and consider joining our fun group. 

To current members, please consider taking on the role of President-Elect.  This is a great way to become more involved in your local and state associations, as well as a great networking tool.

Again, we are excited to be your Co-Presidents and look forward to a fun year!
