Our volunteers look forward to serving IDA.

Executive Committee

The Board of Directors shall be filled by individuals holding duly elected offices of the Association during the operational year: the President, the President-elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, Delegates, Council on Professional Issues Chair, and the Affiliated District Presidents. The Nominating Committee Chair and the Executive Administrator are members without vote. There are 10 Districts in the Illinois Dietetic Association, each of which may cast one vote per district on matters of the Association. The President serves as the Chair.

"Elect" Positions

These duly elected officials are not currently on the Board of Directors, but will become members of the Board of Directors for the Association in the next operational year: delegate-elect, nominating chair-elect , CPI chair-elect, treasurer-elect, and district president-elects.

 

Committees

Committee Chairs are appointed as members of the IDA Leadership Team. The committees include: ADAF state development/fundraising, Bylaws, CPE Review, Government Affairs and Public Policy Advisory, Finance, Grants and Awards, Health Care Finance Committee, Marketing and Public Relations, Nominating, Publications, State Professional Recruitment Liaison, Strategic Planning, Tellers, Website, and Industry Relations. Committee chairs and members (exceptions are voting members of the IDA BOD) are nonvoting members of the IDA Leadership Team.
